A discontinued perfume, ceramic rendition of a paper cup, and pink fountain pen ink amongst other things purchased this month.

September has been a busy month. With the changing of the seasons that remind us just how quickly this year has gone, to product launches and discontinuations, this September has been an interesting one for sure.
These are the items that have been in my shopping basket.
Aphroditie Pink from Laban
Ever wonder what colors the Greek pantheon would be if they were fountain pen inks? Laban has the answer with their Greek mythology releases. Coming in the shade of the perfect blush, Aphroditie Pink is a dye-based ink that pays homage to the goddess of love and beauty herself, Aphroditie. It works well with fine nib pens and bleeds very little even on ordinary copy paper. The ink is a lovely shade of pink that will make the most darling set of bows for gift tags, perfect for the coming holiday season.
O, Unknown from Imaginary Authors
Imaginary Authors are back at it again with their latest discontinuation. This time it came in the form of their polarizing adventure themed scent, O, Unknown. The perfume boasts notes of sandalwood, orris, and lapsang souchong, which some have found to be a comforting woody iris and others, a soggy wet book. Fortunately, I’m the former party. While this good-bye is not forever (hopefully), buying a bottle now will save from the heartache of sourcing the scent in the future.
Pouch Magazine
If you’re searching for a publication that will make you laugh, have you leaving lots of bookmarks on pages of interest, and learning a little bit more about stationery, look no further. This indie publication is a passion project of stationery lover and software engineer, vrk. And upon giving the publication a good read, it’s obvious that everyone involved in the creation of the segments are very passionate about stationery. From the reviews and interviews to the hot takes segment and art challenges, this magazine will have you inspired and a little bit more knowledgeable of stationery.
Turmeric Latte from Lush
Gourmands to cold weather is florals to spring, it just makes sense. Originally a Community Favorite Exclusive, Turmeric Latte is a spicy vanilla milk for people who aren’t overtly fond of the usual sugary sweet gourmands. It comes in both massage bar form and spray perfume form (as of writing this post), Personally, I go for the perfume version.
New York Coffee Cup from MOMA
What has a Grecian design, helps keep millions of New Yorkers warm, and has cameos in hundreds of films and shows set in the Big Apple? An icon of New York City’s coffee culture and an homage to the Greek immigrants who helped shaped it, the Anthora cup is one of those things that’s so recognizable it’s impossible to miss. And while not all of us can simply go to NYC for a cup of joe, this ceramic rendition by Exceptionlab will have to tide me over for the time being.
